South Coast College, Orange, CA – Product: Raised Access Floor/Glass Frames with Glazing

L2 Specialties, Inc. installed an InterfaceAR TecFlor access floor in the computer science classrooms for South Coast College.  An access floor creates a free space between the walking surface and the concrete floor that allows installation of electric, data, and phone lines for computer rooms, training rooms, and server areas.  Air conditioning can also be run under the access floor for equipment/room environmental cooling.  L2 can provide modular wiring systems which allow for “plug and play” installations, custom-configured for each specific project.

ADA-approved ramp and handrail for access to room.  This access floor has a finished floor height of 6” above the concrete building subfloor, which allows approximately 5” free space below the walking surface of the floor.

All computers are networked via cables running below the access floor.

Second ramp area with handrail also provided by L2 Specialties, Inc.

Note installation of access floor around pipe obstruction coming up through access floor.

L2 Specialties, Inc. provided the glass frames and glazing which separates the corridor from the classrooms.
